Serving a bowl of fruit, or a cup of yoghurt, with a side of granola for breakfast makes sense. But, what if, we combine all these three elements to make a beautiful, fun, delicious, gluten-free and most importantly healthy oatmeal breakfast fruit tart?
With every slice, you get a balance of healthy carbohydrates, fibre, protein and vitamins. All these promise a burst of energy to keep you going throughout the day! This oatmeal breakfast fruit tart is the perfect fun breakfast serving, it bakes easily as it is on the eyes and mouth.
A few things before we start; the granola tart base is a combination of oats, chia, coconut and sweetness. However, do not feel limited to this as you can also add almonds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, dried fruit etcetera to make it more nutritious. The yoghurt fill is a natural dairy yoghurt, but you can always substitute it with vegan, flavoured or sweetened yoghurt.
